Culinary Foundations Level 3

Turn your love for cooking into a professional catering career.
If you are the person everyone recruits to cook for the party, it is time to turn that passion into a paycheck. Our Culinary Foundations Level 3 course is an intensive, hands-on dive into the world of professional catering. We believe the best way to learn is by doing, so you will spend your time in the kitchen gaining the real-world experience needed to jump-start a successful career.
You will put your skills to the test by catering three distinct live events: a high-energy appetizer showcase, a full-scale buffet and a sophisticated plated dinner. This practical approach ensures you are ready for any challenge a client throws your way. Whether you are prepping for an intimate wedding or a large corporate gala, you will develop the confidence to deliver perfection under pressure.
Because a great chef also needs to be a savvy business owner, we dive into the numbers that keep a kitchen profitable. You will master the essentials of food costing, menu costing and professional menu writing. By the time you finish, you will have the technical expertise and the business "know-how" to lead a team and run a catering operation that is as successful as it is delicious.
This program is built for those ready for a challenge. To join, you must have completed Culinary Foundations Level 1 and Level 2 or have several years of experience working in a professional restaurant kitchen. Space is limited in this intensive program, so don’t wait to claim your spot at the cutting board and start your journey toward a high-impact culinary career.
